Although my original training was in clinical psychology, my years working in psychiatric hospitals and outpatient clinics made me acutely aware of the limitations of the medical model. Too often, it focused narrowly on symptom reduction and labeled people by their diagnoses, rather than addressing the deeper roots of their suffering. Many patients relapsed because their core emotional, spiritual, and existential needs were left unrecognized.
In response, I shifted my focus toward Transpersonal Psychology — an approach that integrates the spiritual and transcendent dimensions of human experience with the framework of modern psychology. Where clinical psychology often seeks to “fix” problems, Transpersonal Psychology invites us to move beyond our everyday self-structure and open to aspects of life and identity that transcend ordinary struggles. In doing so, we not only reduce symptoms such as anxiety and depression but also uncover meaning, foster genuine peace, and heal at the root.
This work often extends into the existential: exploring questions of life and death, the nature of consciousness, and the deeper meaning behind our challenges. It also examines how emotional wounds are carried in the body and how they can be released.
If we work together, I will consider you as a whole being. Our process may weave together psychology, meditation, mindfulness, hypnosis, breathwork, yoga, body awareness, diet, movement, retreats, shadow work, and emotional intelligence. When needed, I also refer clients to trusted specialists to deepen the healing process — including work in the realms of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy and integration.
Prospective Clients
While I have experience working with people from all walks of life, my current focus is supporting those who are seeking growth and transformation — individuals ready not only to alleviate symptoms but to step into a deeper inquiry of who they truly are.
Symptom relief is part of the work, but the greater emphasis is on personal and psycho-spiritual growth, grounded in the understanding that many mental health challenges arise from unresolved emotional and spiritual blockages. I especially welcome those who are curious about their inner life, who long to move beyond old limitations, explore existential questions, and live with greater clarity, freedom, and meaning.
